Almond & Chia Seed Energy Bites

Chia seeds are often touted as a superfood, and it's no wonder why. Just a handful of these tiny seeds contain a substantial amount of fiber, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids.

But in addition to being nutritious, chia seeds can also give you a much-needed energy boost. One way to get an energy boost from chia seeds is to make energy bites. These bite-sized snacks are easy to make and can be taken on the go.

To make energy bites, simply combine cacao powder, flaxseed meal, chia seeds, almond meal, and pitted dates in a food processor and blend until the mixture comes together.   • Cacao powder, 1 tbsp
  • Flaxseed meal, 3 tbsp
  • Chia seeds, 3 tbsp
  • Almond meal, 1 cup
  • Pitted dates, 2 cups
